Capital Candlelighters
The mission of Capital Candlelighters is to educate, serve, support and advocate for children with cancer, their families, childhood cancer survivors and the professionals who care for them. Capital Candlelighters provides an array of services for the 250 + kids and teens on treatment for cancer at any given time at the American Family Children’s Hospital, and for children in our region who are being treated for cancer at other centers. Our primary goal is to provide information, emotional support, educational resources and emergency assistance to these children and their families, and to accompany them on the difficult journey from diagnosis through treatment to long-term survivorship, or, in 30% of cases, through the experience of the death of the child.

Restoring Hope Transplant House
Restoring Hope Transplant House will be a “home away from home” for patients who are in the Madison area for organ, bone marrow or other transplants. A transplant house is not a medical facility. It is a caring environment that offers high quality, affordable accommodations for patients and their adult family members/caregivers. In addition to physical housing, the House offers hospitality, compassion and hope to support the healing journey for the patient and family. The support is provided by a small core staff, many volunteers and through interaction between other families facing the same challenges.

Golf Fore Wolfe
Golf Fore Wolfe & A Cure is a charity started in memory of Eric Wolfe, who lost his life much too young to brain cancer. The organization is devoted to raising money to endow the Eric Wolfe Brain Tumor Professorship at the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center so that brain tumor patients will have a better chance to extend their lives. The Professorship will provide funds for ongoing brain cancer research. Help us endow this Professorship to help brain cancer patients become survivors.
